Prevented organization at risk of losing student organization status from failing by strategizing and executing a successful recruitment and marketing plan. Grew the struggling organization from 4 members to a highly competitive student organization with a selective application process, consistently holding 30+ active members at all times and an executive board comprised of 8 student leaders. Eliminated organization’s debt from years prior and created a fundraising and membership retention plan for the following years. Raised money and applied for loans to plan out-of-state field trips to visit top advertising agencies in Chicago, social events, and networking events with industry professionals. Awarded the AAF MVP award for my dedication and hard work.

National Student Advertising Competition
(NSAC) Director 

August 2020 - May 2021

  • Managed team of 10 students in weekly 2-4 hour courses where I led discussion and taught core concepts such as advertising and marketing techniques, understanding KPIs, market research, color theory, design, budget, copywriting, components of an advertising campaign, etc

  • Filed appropriate paperwork and ensured our team was working within NSAC policy & procedures and following brand guidelines and confidentiality agreements at all times

  • Prepared team to present research findings and advertising campaign to the NSAC corporate sponsor of the year 

  • First NSAC director to complete and submit our chapter's first NSAC plans book in over 2 years.
